Artist Statement:

Reverie was an incredibly fun and visually dynamic film to shoot. We employed a variety of color schemes to reflect the different moods and worlds, such as soft pinks for Charlotte’s room, a high-contrast spotlight effect for the dreamscape, and warmer tones for the ending sequence. I’m particularly proud of the transitions between the real world and the dreamscape, where we used whip transitions paired with lighting changes to seamlessly shift between the two realities. This project was a true collaboration across all departments—camera, lighting, production design, and more—which made these creative transitions possible and brought the film to life in such a vibrant, cohesive way.
